T.E. Farrow & Associates provides low cost aerial photography and surveillance services in both the Knoxville and Tri-Cities area of operations.

Through a series of professional associations numerous air platforms and levels of sophisticated electronic systems are available to our customers.

Depending on the mission, simple low tech solutions, as simple as an airborne hand held camera, may be used. In other applications Forward Looking Infrared Radar (FLIR), on sophisticated low noise producing platforms may be called for.

Polygraph

T.E. Farrow & Associates provides top notch, quality polygraph services by utilizing examiners who have been trained by the Federal Government and who have gained vast experience in the polygraph world.

Our Forensic Polygraph Examinations are conducted using a Comparison Question Format that meets United States Government standards as well as standards set forth by the American Polygraph Association. The data is collected using a Lafayette Thermal Ambassador polygraph unit. The polygraph charts are evaluated numerically and globally using scoring techniques adopted and taught by the United States Government and generally accepted throughout the polygraph community. The examiner's conclusion is based on the examination and pertains only to the examinee's performance on the polygraph examination using the relevant questions that will be listed in the report you will receive. This opinion is applicable only to those questions, and should not be construed as an overall assessment of the examinee's truthfulness in other areas.

The three possible conclusions that can be reached from a polygraph examination are: No Deception Indicated (no specific, consistent, and significant responses were observed at the relevant questions and the examinee essentially passed); Deception Indicated (specific, consistent, and significant responses were observed at the relevant questions and the examinee essentially failed); No Opinion (for some reason adequate data could not be collected or a conclusive opinion could not be reached by the examiner).

Prior to all of our polygraphs examinations, the examinee is advised the examination is voluntary and can be terminated at any time if requested. Each examinee will read (or be read to if needed), acknowledge, and sign a Consent to Polygraph Form, which will be provided. The polygraph will be explained in full details and all the questions will be individually reviewed with the examinee.

Our polygraph examinations adhere to the strictest guidelines in order to ensure that the pursuit of the truth, remains as our upmost goal.

Forensic Accounting

Forensic accounting is the specialty practice area of accountancy that describes engagements that result from actual or anticipated disputes or litigation. "Forensic" means "suitable for use in a court of law", and it is to that standard and potential outcome that forensic accountants generally have to work.

Forensic accountants, also referred to as forensic auditors or investigative auditors, often have to give expert evidence at the eventual trial. Forensic accountants may be involved in recovering proceeds of crime and in relation to confiscation proceedings concerning actual or assumed proceeds of crime or money laundering.

Forensic accountants utilize an understanding of business information and financial reporting systems, accounting and auditing standards and procedures, evidence gathering and investigative techniques, and litigation processes and procedures to perform their work.

T.E. Farrow & Associates utilizes both retired law enforcement (FBI), and experienced qualified civilian, as forensic accountants . This ensures top quality, experiences and upmost integrity in our accounting product. Our forensic accountants, if needed in the investigation, will meet with the clients, face to face to ensure they are to the point and accurate in all aspects of the investigation.

Forensic Computer Examinations

Forensic computer examinations go far beyond normal data recovery techniques and go into areas and files on the media not normally accessed by untrained personnel. Areas like the unused (unallocated) space on a computer, deleted files, password protected files, etc. are available for examination and evaluation during a thorough forensic examination. Forensic examinations can find the data that you want or need.

Forensic computer examinations are conducted using procedures and protocols that ensure all data is recovered and presented to the client. A forensic computer examination will ensure that the data found is admissible in court, if necessary.

One may simply think of computer crimes as someone trying to "hack" into a computer system or as crimes committed on the Internet. However, once it is realized that computer storage media are really large filing cabinets with detailed, retrievable records of the activities of the user, it can be seen that computer evidence can be very important in any type investigation or inquiry.
